On September 26th, I attended CARA’s Seniors Vote Forum with my mother. We enjoyed hearing from Cindy Chavez as she says goodbye to her San Jose friends and heads to Albuquerque. Evan Low and Sam Liccardo described their priorities if elected for US Congress. Several local politicians shared the reasons why we should elect them. CARA does not endorse candidates, but they do endorse Propositions. Here are the Propositions that CARA is supporting. If you go to the website, https://californiaalliance.org/, scroll down and you will see CARA’s position on the propositions.
NOTE: Our AFT6157R Group is now an official member of the CARA group. As an AFT6157R member, you can now join for free. We encourage to join and support this wonderful organization.
South Bay Labor Council Endorsements
Through AFT6157, we are also members of the South Bay Labor Council. Kathy Jasper is your representative to that Council. The over 100 labor organizations in Santa Clara and San Benito Counties work together to elect labor friendly candidates, and in our case, education friendly candidates. Here are the candidate endorsements.
