Been a busy campaign season for me. I was thinking of running for the 10th State Senate District, until my Brothers and Sisters talked me into staying at the West Valley Mission CCD. I made a commitment to bring Labor peace to the District. We are not there yet. So I am in solidarity with my Brothers and Sisters that I must remain as a Trustee to the WVMCCD. I dropped out of the race and Trustee of the WVMCCD, Ann Kepler, ran for the State Senate seat instead.
I remain as an elected Trustee to the South Bay Labor Council. The SBLC had a busy campaign season endorsing candidates for all positions in Santa Clara and San Benito counties.
We have been busy with organizing for the Spring get together. Kathy and Leslie will have more on that later. Walt has been busy attending events of the SBLC. We all work hard on your behalf, so enjoy your retirement.
