We are working hard on your behalf. A member of the AFT 6157 Executive Board is running for the Werst Valley Mission CCD Area 7. Doug Robb, Kinesiology Instructor and former Baseball Coach at SJ City College, is running for Trustee of the WVMCCD. We need to support his candidacy. Doug is running against an incumbent and needs all of our help to get elected. Please contact Karen Chan at 510 219-2150 to ASSIST IN DOUG’S Campaign. It is great to see our soon to be retirees thinking about continuing to serve our community and students. Congratulations Doug Robb. You will do great things for all of us.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at our Fall mixer at Mexico Lindo on Oct.16 at 12 noon. Bring an appetite and anything you would like to share with other retirees of the AFT 6157R.
We have participated in the South Bay Labor Council (SBLC) endorsement interviews for the Fall 2026 elections. The endorsements will be Included in this newsletter.
I hope all is fine and you are all in good health. Have a great fall season.
Paul Fong, President of the AFT6157R
